How and Why to SELF-Motivate

Easier said than done you may think? Trust me, I hear you. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve looked to others for inspiration.
So if you’re scrolling social media, reading book after book, searching for motivation within the latest episode of your favourite podcast, hoping, someone or something will inspire you to do better, be better.
STOP. BREATHE. BREATHE AGAIN.
I am here to tell you, it starts with, YOU.
If the desire to make a change or do something new is there, within you, trust yourself to make that change, don’t overthink it, or wait for others to lead the way, let THIS be your kickstart to Self Motivation,
Let’s name it the JUST DO IT approach, yes perhaps borrowed from a little known Sports wear brand.
So maybe you want to finally get your fabulous self to that exercise class, or put pen to paper on that business plan that’s been on repeat in your mind for the past 5 years, and you’re feeling less than eager or inspired.
JUST DO IT, get started, sure there may be resistance, but the good news is that it doesn’t take long before the momentum kicks in, that momentum being dopamine as it’s released in your brain, and that release needs to be initiated by YOU.
